Library Transition Audit

This audit evaluated Library operating practices and, where applicable, identified alternatives that would help the Librarian in program management. In some instances, we identified opportunities for collaborating with the County to use available resources, thus saving library resources, while at the same time maintaining the independence of the Library decision-makers.

Our results show the Library could improve:

  • Management of the Gift Fund,
  • Management of available resources in some areas, and
  • Compliance with some Library administrative regulations, polices, and procedures to strengthen internal controls.
