OFFICE: Bill joined the Johnson County government team in September 2004 after serving five years in the Missouri State Auditor's Office as the Director, Performance Audits. He brings audit expertise that spans over Federal, State and now County government. His previous experience includes a 34-year career in the Federal Government serving as Regional Manager for the Kansas City Office of Audit, U.S. Department of Energy and as Regional Director, Kansas City Office of Inspector General, U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs. He also served as an Audit Program Director with the U.S. Army Audit Agency. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Southeast Missouri State University and a Master of Arts in Government from Southern Illinois University—Edwardsville. He is a Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified Government Financial Manager. Bill is active in professional audit organizations and has received national awards for that service. He served as Chapter President and Regional Vice President of the Association of Government Accountants (AGA). He also served on the National Community Service Committee for AGA.
